Arlett is a PhD student at the University of Granada. Her research focuses on accurate water vapour retrievals from Raman lidar measurements. She studies the sensitivity of the water vapour Raman lidar technique to the differential atmospheric transmission (DT) term and to different calibration approaches, including their estimation and automated implementation, to achieve precise water vapour measurements. The automated calculation of the DT term combined with calibration enables the generation of long-term water vapour datasets, allowing the characterisation of atmospheric water vapour with high vertical resolution. She also investigates aerosol–cloud interactions through hygroscopic aerosol growth, using a synergistic approach that combines remote sensing and in situ techniques.
