PhD student

Victor is a PhD student investigating water vapour retievals and thermodynamic profiling using the Raman lidar technique. He is currently focused on optmising Raman lidar systems for obtaining high temporal and vertical resolution water vapor mixing ratio profiles. Due to water vapour being the main greenhouse gas in the atmosphere and given its participation in most thermodynamic processes in the troposhere and lower stratosphere, his investigation is willing to contribute to the thermodynamic characterisation of the atmopshere in a global warming scenario reinforced by climate change. Victor, together with the whole team, are also investigatin remote sensing synergies for wider thermodynamic products characterisation, with emphasis in water vapour and temperature observations.
